Behind Every Successful Project is Great Teamwork: How We Built DoctorYan
When you visit a doctor, you want the process to be simple. You want to find the right specialist, book an appointment fast and trust that your personal data is safe.
This was the idea behind DoctorYan – the first Armenian app that connects patients and doctors directly. And we are proud to say: our team was the one who brought this vision to life.
But like every great project, it came with its own challenges.
The DoctorYan team approached us with a big mission:
Build a platform where patients can search for doctors, book visits online and leave reviews – all in one place.
At first, it sounded simple. But when we looked deeper, we saw the complexity:
We knew it was possible. But it required the right mix of design, technology and teamwork.
We worked side by side with the DoctorYan founders and medical experts. Every week, we tested ideas, collected feedback and improved the product. Here are some highlights of our journey:
We kept the interface clean and friendly. Searching for doctors is as easy as typing a name or specialty. Booking an appointment takes only a few taps.
For doctors, we created a separate app – DoctorYan Partner – where they can:

To help the DoctorYan team manage the platform, we built a user-friendly web dashboard. With this tool, the support team can:
This dashboard gave the DoctorYan team full control in one place, making daily operations smooth and efficient.
We implemented encrypted connections (HTTPS + SSL) and role-based access control so only the right people see the right data. We also added a data deletion option for users who want full control over their information.
We built the backend on cloud servers that scale automatically. Whether it’s 100 users or 10,000, the system runs smoothly without slowing down.
We added a verification system: only real patients who booked through the app can leave feedback. This way, reviews are authentic and trust grows naturally.
