The core idea behind LiveChef is simple yet groundbreaking: what if you could not only order high-quality meals but also watch professional chefs prepare them in real time? Imagine transforming the food delivery experience into a luxury dining event with table service, all from the comfort of your home.
When the client approached us with this vision, it was clear that user experience and technical reliability had to be paramount. We had to craft an app that not only delivered food but also fostered trust, performance, and a truly immersive experience for users.
Integrating real-time video streaming from professional kitchens into the mobile app was a core feature, but it came with its own set of difficulties. Ensuring low-latency streaming without compromising video quality across varying network conditions was a major hurdle. We had to guarantee reliability even on slower connections, which required cutting-edge technology.
With LiveChef, customers can choose from multiple delivery options, including personal wait staff and multi-hour service windows. This required a smart backend capable of managing complex schedules, locations, and real-time resource allocation.
The app offers a constantly evolving menu and a pre-order-only Special Menu. We developed a custom admin panel allowing kitchen staff to update the menu in real-time without needing a developer, streamlining operations.
